Job Description

Sage is currently seeking an exceptional Global Payroll Manager to support the company's continued growth. We are looking for collaborative, self-motivated individuals who want to make an impact as a member of the Payroll Team based in Winnersh. The Payroll Team is responsible for providing payroll/compensation support to the company focusing on cloud computing, software licensing, data privacy, dispute management, as well as general corporate matters.

This is a fast paced and varied role, where you will be providing guidance on a variety of subjects, including being a key player in managing payroll operations for our Celergo countries and providing essential support for selected GlobalView countries. You will also contribute significantly to our Global Payroll Function, participating in various projects and global initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

What you can expect in the first 90 days:

During your first 30 days at Sage, you'll complete all general onboarding activities and introductory trainings, ensuring a smooth entrance into the company and meeting key stakeholders. By the 60-day mark, you'll have gained confidence in handling day-to-day tasks and collaborate with your manager to establish future measures of success, including OKRs. Finally, at 90 days, you'll have a comprehensive understanding of your role's expectations, with the ability to work independently within the Payroll Team while still receiving support from your team.

What you will be involved in:

• Lead Team: Manage payroll for 10 countries (Celergo) and select GlobalView countries.
• Payroll Management: Handle payroll processing and audits.
• Streamline Processes: Improve payroll, share plans, commissions, and salary reviews.
• Governance: Update documentation in Confluence.
• Global Projects: Contribute to automation and process improvement.
• Vendor Management: Manage ADP tasks, including MyView portal and ticketing.
• Financial Oversight: Handle payroll-related purchase orders and invoicing.
• Incident Management: Support business continuity plans.
• Proxy Role: Act as a proxy for the Global Payroll & Projects Manager.

Skills and Experience:

• Extensive multi-country payroll experience.
• Proficient in data analytics (Excel, automation tools, Power BI).
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiar with ADP products, SAP Payroll, Kronos, and ServiceNow.
• Agile and quick learner.
• 5+ years in multi-country payroll roles.
• Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Leadership and project management experience are a plus.
