Your Role as a Change Communications Manager:
As part of the Culture department, you will work be responsible for planning, preparing, and managing change communications campaigns. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that team members and customer groups understand objectives, call-to-actions, and implementation outputs. Collaborating with the Digital Change Manager, you will drive positive change and ensure projects achieve their desired outcomes.
Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and executing comprehensive communications for digital and people change programmes.
- Collaborating with senior leaders and change programme managers to create effective communication plans.
- Engaging with key stakeholders and tailoring communication approaches to meet their specific needs.
- Leading communications for digital transformation projects, highlighting benefits, impacts, and timelines.
- Creating engaging digital content, including emails, intranet updates, videos, and webinars.
- Partnering with IT and digital teams to ensure seamless communication of system changes and new technology adoptions.
- Providing transparent and empathetic communication during times of change, explaining how people will be affected and how they can adapt.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to leaders, offering guidance on effective communication practises.
- Developing clear, compelling, and consistent messaging for change initiatives.
- Supporting change champions across the organisation and providing them with the necessary training and resources.
- Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of change communications and gathering feedback for improvement.
- Promoting a positive change culture in line with organisational values and strategic priorities.
About You:
- Essential skills: Experience in change management and managing a communications function, proven delivery of communications tools, effective oral and written communication skills, project management skills, ability to work independently, and competent in relevant software packages.
- Desirable skills: Employment in a customer service/public facing organisation, development of PR plans, and public presentations.
- Essential qualifications: Relevant degree and/or CIPR qualification, and knowledge of communications-related legislation.
- Desirable qualifications: Change management qualification and digital communications qualification.
