[What the role is]
You will be working on the Competency and Specialist Development as a Capability Development Intern under People Matters Division.

[What you will be working on]

  • Craft job competencies and profiles for staff handling specific functions in NLB
  • Conduct research and design learning roadmaps to support staff developments
  • Conduct in-depth analysis on learning needs survey data collected from NLB library and archives specialists
  • Identify learning gaps, conduct research and propose appropriate learning interventions
  • Work with internal stakeholders to refresh existing curriculum for foundation specialist programmes
  • Prepare presentation deck(s) to engage relevant stakeholders on HR's proposals.
  • Document follow-up actions to be taken during engagement with stakeholders
  • Present findings and seek buy-ins from relevant stakeholders on the proposed learning interventions for NLB library and archives specialists
  • Work out a training schedule for foundation specialist programme
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to acquire understanding of capability development processes such as room booking, onsite logistic support, etc.

[What we are looking for]

  • Students from HR, Business Administration and Social Sciences related courses are preferred.
  • Students with passion in Human Resource Development particularly in the area of training, capability building.
  • Students with basic research skills who also possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders.
  • Students who are detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively, and able to do self-directed learning to pick up new skills and knowledge through readings, videos etc.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and experience in using design software such as Piktochart.

Duration: Min 8 to 12 weeks
