Hours: 27 hours 30 minutes per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at our secondary specialist provision in Bannockburn High School, which opened in August . Our specialist provision currently meets the needs of autistic young people and those young people with more complex additional support needs. We are seeking to appoint 2 x 1.0fte permanent Support for Learning Assistants (SLAs) who will work for 27.5 hours per week during term-time.

You will have experience in supporting children and young people. Knowledge of autism and appropriate support strategies is desirable. You will be kind, flexible, supportive, understanding and able to listen & respond appropriately to young people. You will be a valued part of a team, working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to provide an appropriate environment, learning and support to meet the holistic needs of the young people.
