Job Description

Post Title: Project Manager (Sustainable Transport)
 Location: Highland Council Headquarters, Inverness* (Hybrid Working)
 Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term for 23 Months*
Salary: £46, - £50, per annum

 Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Join our team as a pioneering leader in sustainable transport. We are seeking an exceptional individual to drive the identification, management, and delivery of innovative low carbon transport projects. Your focus will be on developing cutting-edge infrastructure and transitioning to a low carbon fleet, with potential projects spanning various advanced technologies. You will oversee these initiatives from planning to implementation, expertly handling both commercial and technical aspects. Your efforts will be crucial in advancing the Council’s ambitious Net Zero and Sustainable Transport Programme. Be part of our mission to create a greener future and make a significant impact.
