Job description
The Tech Sector Team is made up of three sub-teams: Tech Sector Growth & Big Tech, Digital Skills & Innovation and Strategy, Engagement & Policy.
Our role is to lead on engagement with the tech sector and develop or support policies that will allow the sector to thrive. Across Whitehall, we encourage consistent engagement with the tech community and ensure that policies support digital and tech growth. Externally we engage with key stakeholders to better understand the opportunities and barriers facing company growth and success. We also utilise milestone moments, such as London Tech Week, to amplify and promote the UK�s credentials to national and international audiences.

Alongside your salary of �52,320, Department for Science, Innovation & Technology contributes �14,126 towards you being a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology offers a competitive mix of benefits including:
