Old Felixstowe Nursery is a trustee led Nursery and is a registered charity. We are a small but very friendly, experienced and supportive team. We are based in the grounds of Kingsfleet school in a Suffolk County Council purpose-built building with a spacious indoor and outdoor learning area. We are a Ofsted rated ‘Good’ provision.

We are looking for a friendly and supportive Deputy Manager to join our team and work closely alongside the nursery manager to ensure the smooth running of the nursery. You will provide high quality care to our children and families. Alongside the staff team you will establish and sustain a safe, welcoming, stimulating and encouraging environment. You will support the nursery Manager in the leadership of staff to ensure proper deployment. You will be supported in your role by trustees, Nursery Manager, Administrative Manager, Curriculum lead and dedicated staff team.

We are looking for an immediate start but can be flexible with this.

Role details:

permanent position four days a week 8:30 – 3:50 term time only rate of pay - £11.85 upwards dependant on qualification and experience. 

We will offer you:

Essential:

minimum of a Level 3 qualification in early years current DBS/willingness to complete one and be on the subscription service. 

Desirable:

experience of working in an Early Years setting or other suitable experience willingness to undergo training where required.
