The Person

We are currently looking for a Cluster Maintenance Manager to join our fun and dynamic team.

The applicant will need to have a proven record and experience in delivering well maintained and safe environment, being the first point of contact and accountable for reactive and planned maintenance tasks within the hotel.

The mission for this role is to oversee the engineering and maintenance operations of their Cluster hotels ensuring compliance, prevention and optimum efficiency is achieved. This role will take responsibility for facilities maintenance and workplace safety.

The Cluster Maintenance Manager will own the maintenance program and drive its execution, taking responsibility for management and delivery of maintenance budgets, the H&S programme, an aspect of the Hotel supply chain and the preventative maintenance programme of their hotels.

Hands on experience in solving maintenance issues in a customer focused environment is essential.

Having experience in managing a varied subcontract team in delivering first-time cost-effective solutions is also a key attribute to this role.

Areas of responsibility:


  • Ensure compliance with Saeker system.
  • Responsibility for timely return of OOO & OOS rooms
  • Ensure the property is kept in good condition – exterior & interior.
  • Ensure maintenance budget targets are achieved within their cluster
  • Ensure compliance with the company H&S processes and procedures.
  • Own all maintenance SOPs
  • Manage H&S training programme
  • Manage budget and efficiency of all FFE third party vendors.
  • Relate any issues with third party vendors back to Head of Operations
  • Ensure maintenance is completed with agreed SLA and report against this monthly
  • Responsible along with the hotel managers for the recruitment of nay maintenance team that is needed within the cluster.
  • Responsible along with the hotel managers for the onboarding of any new maintenance team members within the cluster
  • Responsible for training of the hotel teams on crisis management and day to day maintenance tasks that will improve guest experience
