About the Role

We are seeking an individual with experience of Intellectual Property (IP) copyrights to lead on sourcing language content to deliver revenue and growth for Oxford Languages' licensing business. This role will be instrumental in identifying and delivering supplier and content opportunities for a wide variety of language content and technology. This role will need to be highly reactive and work with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment as the primary stage of the supply chain in contributing to positioning Oxford Languages as a major player in the language data market.

About You

Our ideal person will be someone that has previously sourced, with IP management experience and understands publishers. We need someone that is determined and resilient to challenges with excellent communication and listening skills. Being able to find areas of opportunities coupled with strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, will make you a stand out for this role.

Essential:
  • Experience of IP and copyrighted works
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving and collaboration skills with the ability to build strong relationships and connections.
  • Experience or knowledge of global publishing and experience working with content and data in languages other than English.
  • Experience of working in an international team and across a variety of team functions.
  • Proven experience of delivering supply in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:
  • Proven experience as a sourcing leader.
  • Experience working in language data and services.
  • Awareness of and skills in data handling
