Job summary

The Delivery Director will be responsible for the successful delivery of our services across all jurisdictions within their region. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the business continues to improve the services it offers against a backdrop of significant change and financial pressure.

This is a high profile, highly demanding role where you will demonstrate outstanding leadership in operational and service delivery. You will have a proven track record of success in a complex operational delivery environment and have demonstrated significant senior impact. You will foster a positive culture providing an inclusive service to our users and that enables diverse talent to flourish in HMCTS. You will be someone who leads by example and can deliver change and excellent services working in partnership with senior professional outside of your span of control. You will also be someone who can work effectively in a highly complex stakeholder environment, building strong relationships with our judicial partners and the wider justice system.

Person specification

As Delivery Director, you will be directly accountable for the delivery of all aspects of HMCTS business in the region including people, performance, resources and wider corporate governance.

Accountable to the Courts and Tribunals Director for providing strategic oversight, ownership and leadership for the region, and with oversight of approximately 1370 staff members, you will be responsible��for delivering service level targets and ensuring that HMCTS continues to improve the service offered to our�stakeholders and end users, including vulnerable witnesses and victims,�against a backdrop of significant financial pressures and the wide scale transformational change being delivered by the Reform Programme.
