Rural Surveyor / Land Agent - Cardiff

Beach Baker are working with one of the leading firm of chartered surveyors in Wales. Based in central Cardiff, their services cover a full range of sectors such as retail, office, industrial, residential land, and rural and agricultural property. Their client base comprises regional, national, and international organisations, both public and private, and their experienced staff provide specialist functions across these sectors.

Role Description

This is a full-time Land Agent role based in Cardiff, with work covering much of Wales and parts of England. The successful candidate will be required to provide expert advice to clients on rural property and investment opportunities, prepare appraisals, negotiate transactions, undertake aerial surveys using a drone, conduct valuations, provide L&T advice, and to build networks with key industry players.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in agricultural lease negotiations, rural estate and land management, lease administration, land acquisition and disposal, renewable energy schemes, and valuations for most purposes
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Rural Estate Management, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fellowship of the CAAV is desirable, and support will be given towards exams as needed
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
  • Suitably experienced graduates may also be considered
