The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Lead to join the Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC (MEH) Programme. You'll support the development and delivery of the Sizewell C MEH Works, playing a crucial role in shaping our future.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial within the MEH division, you will be chiefly responsible for procurement assurance for MEH Alliance subcontracts and self-performed activities. You will be the key point of assurance for your assigned contracts, empowered to make decisions within your principal accountability areas, guided by the Head of Commercial.

Your direct involvement in procurement activities and processes will be vital. You will lead the provision of assurance and oversight across the Alliance, ensuring our standards are met and exceeded.

The Skills

  • Exceptional negotiating, influencing, and communication skills for procuring and managing contracts, ideally within MEH, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract performance measurements, risk management, and change management.
  • Experience administering the FIDIC suite of contracts and familiarity with nuclear site licence conditions is highly desirable.
  • Membership in a professional Chartered body (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Experience of NEC3 suite of contracts.
