Location: Lichfield

Salary: 29,000

Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Oliver Rae is working on behalf of a well known Furniture Distribution business with various Depots and Showrooms located across the UK. We have an exciting new opportunity to track and manage customer orders.

This role is more of a Sales Processing and Account Managing role where all the duties below will ensure that the products are produced and received by the customer seamlessly.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving to customer meetings and other depots (expenses are all paid).
  • Approving online orders.
  • Checking with suppliers that the new orders have been received and accepted.
  • Regularly meet with supplies and obtain weekly production and loading schedules.
  • Real Time update of orders.
  • Tracking any delays.
  • Notifying customers.
  • Marking orders as shipped once the dispatch notifications have been received from suppliers.
  • Raise and manage any escalations and expedite orders with suppliers where required.
  • Dealing with quality issues such as damages, missing components.
  • Report to suppliers and report the remedial actions.
  • Compiling regular reports (weekly, monthly and quarterly).
  • Perform periodic audits on site for compliance with agreed SLA's on fabric stock holding.

Qualification/experience:

  • Must have a full UK Driving licence with access to own vehicle.
  • Must have sales and planning knowledge.
  • Competent with IT Systems as this will be heavily data driven - Microsoft and excel.
  • Must have excellent communication skills as this will be conversing with suppliers and customers.
