Vision For Education are looking to recruit a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for full/part time work in the Plymouth area.

About the role

Vision for Education are looking to appoint a nurturing and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant. Working at a mainstream Primary school with KS1 & KS2 pupils with ASD and ADHD. This is a varied role that will require flexibility and a can-do attitude. The 1:1 Teaching Assistant role will include a mixture of full classroom support and one-to-one support depending on the needs of the students at the time.

Vision For Education work with well established schools across the Plymouth area. The school can provide our 1:1 Teaching Assistants with the chance to work within a dynamic team and be offered support throughout their time working within the school.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Have experience working with children that have additional needs
  • Have a patient and caring nature
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.

Salary

£85 to £95 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Must hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or have experience with working with children
