Here's What You'll Do:

  • Oversee: Ensure the successful technical delivery of essential wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects. Guide a team of approximately 10 civil engineers to provide valuable solutions to client challenges throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Provide Expertise: Offer technical knowledge and expertise to the design team on all aspects of civil projects, from conceptual phases to implementation.
  • Ensure Quality: Review and verify calculations, technical reports, drawings, and models to ensure compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and procedures.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with clients and AECOM counterparts to secure stakeholder buy-in for solutions, while contributing to AECOM's broader technical capabilities and innovative approaches.

Here's what we're looking for:

  • Experience in designing and managing the technical delivery of water and wastewater networks and treatment projects from feasibility and outline design to detailed design and construction support.
  • Strong collaboration and coordination skills between teams, clients and stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness with experience in monitoring and control of engineering budgets.
  • A degree or equivalent in a related engineering subject.
  • Chartered Engineer Status (or approaching chartered status).
