Salary from £40,229 to £48,456 per annum inclusive with potential to progress to £52,095 pa inclusive of London allowance

LSE LIFE is the School's academic and personal development centre for undergraduate and taught master's students that started in September 2016. LSE LIFE is looking to recruit a Study Adviser (Quantitative Subjects) to join the existing team and contribute to the centre's continuing success.

The Study Adviser(Quantitative Subjects) will be responsible for delivering regular one to ones to our undergraduate and postgraduate students both in person on campus, and online, as well as finding new ways to continually improve the delivery of our support in LSE LIFE for quantitative students.

Candidates should have:

  • Experience of delivering student support in one-to-one and/or small group settings
  • Evidence of an understanding and appreciation of the support needs of international students, of cultural differences, and ability to relate well to people from diverse backgrounds
  • A good undergraduate degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or other relevant quantitative subject
  • Experience of supporting students studying mathematics, statistics, economics or other relevant quantitative subjects.
