We are seeking an experienced Risk Professional to join our Non-Financial Risk team at Ford Credit, the financial services arm of the business. The successful candidate will support the Non-Financial Risk Manager in delivering assurance over the Bank's non-financial risks including Compliance, Conduct, Operational Risk & Resilience. The role will involve developing assurance insights to share at an Executive level, that will help enhance and evolve the Bank's risk management capability, helping contribute to its growth.

We are seeking an experienced Risk Professional to join our Non-Financial Risk team at Ford Credit, the financial services arm of the business. The successful candidate will support the Non-Financial Risk Manager in delivering assurance over the Bank's non-financial risks including Compliance, Conduct, Operational Risk & Resilience.
  • Lead assurance initiatives on the Non-Financial Risk Frameworks across FCE Bank Plc to ensure proportionate management and control of all non-financial risks, including Supplier Risk, Conduct Risk, Operational Risk, IT, Cyber and Change Management.
  • Maintain the identification, analysis and monitoring of key drivers for Non-Financial Risk in FCE's First Line of Defence by performing regular assurance reviews, and adopting a business partnering approach to providing advice, guidance, and challenge.
  • Lead the Delivery of the Bank's Second Line Controls Testing Framework, ensuring that RCSA scoring is in line with Control Effectiveness.
  • Report findings from assurance activities, such as Second Line Controls Testing, to senior management and relevant risk committees, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor the external environment to stay informed of emerging Non-Financial Risks and regulatory changes affecting the industry, integrating this knowledge into assurance practices.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Non-Financial Risk controls testing and assurance, providing guidance and support to all FCE locations and functions.
  • Provide controls testing and assurance on the Supplier Risk management framework and the effectiveness of the controls implemented by the First line.
  • Provide sample checks on change initiative risk assessments, impact analyses, and mitigation plans.
  • Oversee the delivery of FCE Bank plc's Compliance Monitoring Programme including supporting 2 x Compliance Monitoring Officers with their day-to-day compliance monitoring queries.
  • Support the identification of Compliance risks to which the business is exposed, and the maintenance of the Compliance Risk Register (CRR) for the Bank.
  • Follow up, review and challenge any approved recommendations with stakeholders/affected business units.
  • Review and challenge UK Product Harm Matrix data to ensure appropriate First Line management of Conduct Risks in line with Consumer Duty Requirements.
  • Participate in and provide Second Line assurance insights to the Compliance Committees and Executive Op. Risk Committee and other relevant governance forums.
  • Ensure clear communication and documentation of assurance findings, articulating risks and control weaknesses to senior management and governance committees.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Non-Financial Risk policies and procedures, aligning them with industry standards and regulatory expectations.
  • Assist with the continuous improvement of governance structures and processes related to Non-Financial Risks, ensuring they remain effective and efficient.
  • Engage in the strategic planning of Non-Financial Risk oversight, contributing to the long-term resilience and stability of FCE's operations.
