Key Responsibilities
- As a Category Manager for plumbing and heating, drive incremental value creation through exceptional negotiation skills with all suppliers in the portfolio.
- Execute the Category strategy effectively and efficiently within the plumbing and heating sector.
- Develop comprehensive Category plans by leveraging customer and market insights specific to plumbing and heating.
- Collaborate with the broader team to implement the pricing strategy for the plumbing and heating Category.
- Enhance customer experience by supporting promotional activities, space planning, and in-store presentation of plumbing and heating products.
- Identify pricing trends and create strategies to optimize margins in the plumbing and heating product area.
- Contribute to achieving company profitability targets.
- Monitor Category performance, identify market trends, and drive the success of Product Groups within plumbing and heating.
- Prepare and present monthly reports on savings, benefits, key initiatives, and projects, utilizing a well-developed Category Management dashboard (KPIs).

Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience as a Category Manager in the plumbing and heating sector within high-performance organizations, preferably within the building materials supply industry.
- Proven track record in Category/Product Management within operating companies.
- Strong understanding of Category Management principles in a B2C environment, with knowledge of the supply chain and key decision-makers.
- Resilient negotiator and influencer, capable of delivering under pressure and excelling in relationship development.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and creatively.
