The role: Commercial Account Handler
- We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler to join our Commercial team of 8 account handlers supporting 5 account executives, which is located in our West Malling offices.
- The role focuses on a mixed book of commercial and charity/religious clients
- This is the perfect role for someone with a strong background in commercial insurance having worked in a Handler or Broker type role looking to move into a more Commercial focused role within an established, market leading insurance broker.

- This role offers hybrid office/homeworking (the team tends to work 2 days at the office and 3 days from home).

What you will be rewarded with?

- You will get in-depth on the job training and learn about insurance, insurance broking as well as building relationships within the business and outside with our partners.
We will rely on you to:
- Work with Account Executives to retain and generate new business, by leveraging strategy information and managing contract reviews and midterm changes.
- Strive to meet sales goals by partnering with Account Executives
- Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
- Manage all day to day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
- Perform critical client functions, including: evaluating risks; reviewing loss experience, cash flow and financials; developing solutions; articulating impact of options; leveraging prepared analytics and making recommendations to client across product lines.
- Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
- Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients
