An 'Outstanding' primary school in Castle Bromwich seeks a Graduate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small group support in either KS1 or KS2. This role involves aiding pupils in their journey through the national curriculum.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored academic assistance to pupils, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • Support students in understanding and mastering the national curriculum.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of effective teaching strategies.
  • Monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback and adjusting support as needed.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment to encourage student participation.
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify and address the individual needs of pupils.
Requirements:
  • A recent graduate with a strong academic record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine interest in supporting young learners and enhancing their educational experience.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to educational challenges.
