Location Medical Sciences Division, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, OX3 9DU
The University of Oxford actively promotes and supports flexible working. This is a full-time post, however a job share would be considered at 0.5 FTE each. We can offer flexibility with hybrid working, with an expectation of 2 days minimum on-site (Tuesday and Thursday). This position is available immediately for a fixed term contract of 2 years month internal secondment). Interviews will be held in person, on Tuesday 10 September 2024.
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to join the University of Oxford's Medical Sciences HR Team as an HR Policy Officer and Data Analyst, where you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in strategically important projects for the Medical Sciences Division's Research Strategy and Funding team. This newly created position encompasses a wide range of HR-related responsibilities and projects.
The Medical Sciences Division is globally recognised for its excellence in biomedical and clinical research and teaching, and this role will be instrumental in meeting the people and data requirements for the Research Excellence Framework (REF), the UK's system for assessing research quality in higher education institutions.

- An excellent contributory pension scheme
- 38 days annual leave
- A comprehensive range of childcare services
- Generous family leave schemes
- EAP (Employee Assistance Programme)
Please be aware, the University has introduced a pensionable Oxford University Weighting of £1,500 a year (pro rata) for all staff on grades 1–10 of the main salary and grading structure which will be implemented in the September 2024 payroll and backdated to 1 August 2024.
