Information Protection Advisor

Job Description:

Help us secure our identities and audit our future. Get ready for a job that encourages you to think strategically yet stay connected with your teams. Cigna is looking for a candidate with Identity and/or Cyber Security experience. The Information Protection Advisor will be responsible for operational support of Identity-based security solutions. These solutions will help deliver on our mission to enforce the principle of Least Privilege through Technical Access Controls procedures while preserving Compliance for testing by external auditors.

  • Work closely with the team to support the Technical Access Control solutions within Cigna's Identity & Access Management tools based on business requirements.
  • Be operationally aware of product currency and consistency across all domains.
  • Participate in the drive for automating solutions.
  • Ensure stable and secure environments, working with tools and dashboards.
  • Be available for training, support, and guidance to expand your knowledge of the environment.
  • Respond to operational ticket requests, problems, and questions to fellow employees in the Identity and access management space.
  • Be available for some off hours Support. Working closely with our offshore team for problem escalations in our international space, as necessary.
  • Identify critical security issues and provide recommendations of risk-reduction solutions to the team.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and ability to support and troubleshoot end-user issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Be able to partner with colleagues and clearly communicate issues and recommendations.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong experience with CyberArk and/or HashiCorp solutions.
  • Strong experience of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative abilities.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Sciences, or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience working in the fields of Identity and Access Management, Privileged Access Management, or Cybersecurity.
