Civil Litigation Paralegal – Specialist Litigation Firm- London

Taylor Root have partnered with a leading specialist law firm in their search for an experienced litigation paralegal to join their Civil/Commercial Litigation team. This role is being offered on a 12-month basis.

The Firm

Our client is a leading litigation specialist law firm known for its heavyweight international disputes. They are augmented by top ranked legal directories for their civil fraud, commercial disputes and business crime practices.

The Team

The Commercial Litigation and Civil Fraud practice specialise in fraud (civil and criminal); commercial disputes; international corporate investigations; and cross-border issues (including extradition and mutual legal assistance). Clients include multinational corporations and financial institutions, governments, and high net worth individuals and families all over the world.

The Role

The successful individual will provide dedicated legal and administrative support on one case. Tasks may include:

  • Administrative support for hearings and trials including agreeing indices;
  • Preparing bundles;
  • Arranging transcribers;
  • Filing and retrieval of documents;
  • Corresponding with external parties via email or telephone;
  • Logistical support;
  • Drafting research memos on a range of issues;
  • Taking detailed notes at meetings or during conference calls with clients, Counsel and third parties.

The ideal Candidate

You will have prior experience working in Litigation, ideally gained from another leading law firm in London. You will also have a strong academic background, including a law degree or GDL.
