About the role

The Oxford Vaccine Group (OVG) is currently seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a CEPI funded Nipah programme. The post-holder will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team while also demonstrating independent initiative to tackle challenges and provide exceptional administrative support.

About the department

The Department of Paediatrics encourages staff to develop their skills by offering all staff ten paid days of professional development each year. The department also has a departmental policy where staff can apply for funding or additional days for training courses to support their professional development. We also offer financial assistance of up to 20% for visa renewal fees.

Please be aware, the University has introduced a pensionable Oxford University Weighting of £1,500 a year (pro rata) for all staff on grades 1–10 of the main salary and grading structure which will be implemented in the September 2024 payroll and backdated to 1 August 2024. About you

We are looking for individuals with extensive experience in coordinating and managing complex projects, possessing a thorough understanding of legislative, financial, and research governance requirements, as well as expertise in vaccine manufacturing.

Successful candidates will have a proven track record in setting up and delivering scientific projects and clinical trials to high standards. They will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day project coordination and activities. Additionally, this role may involve international travel.
