Your role:

We are looking for our next Consultant Relations Directorin our London OR Henley-on-Thames office based in the EMEA Consultant Relations team

In this role you will focus on business development and relationship management with global and regional consultants with a primary focus on private markets.

What we are we looking for:
  • Manage and develop relationships with select global and alternatives consultant firms with a focus on private markets (in-particular real estate and private credit) - across research and field consultants
  • Build engagement at all levels of experience and seniority, achieving "buy" ratings for Invesco products/ strategies (including finding opportunities for teamwork on new products), collaborating with the direct sales team to commercialise achieved ratings
  • Support business development efforts with select institutional investors including endowments, foundations, family offices and pension funds with a focus on private markets
  • Plan and lead fundraising roadshows for all relevant products
  • Update CRM systems with ongoing engagements and updating key internal partners
What you can bring:
  • Strong experience working in asset management / consultancy sale s/ client facing roles, experience of working in consultant relations and /or investor relations
  • Deep understanding of real estate and private credit asset classes. Experience with public markets would be a plus
  • Understanding of fundraising process associated with closed end funds
  • An existing network across investment consultants and institutional investors a plus
  • IMC/Actuary/CFA preferred
  • Comfortable with discussing technical topics related to investments, portfolio construction and asset allocation
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well within a team is essential
  • Proven ability to communicate complexity with simplicity
  • Experience with Salesforce, advanced Microsoft Office Suite
