As a prominent leader in the industry, they are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. Within a timeframe of 6 to 9 months, the selected candidate will transition into the role of Financial Controller.
Your role as Finance Manager
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the company's accounts preparation, overseeing functions such as sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit control.
Your duties will include managing the month-end process, handling the confidential monthly payroll, as well as overseeing budgets and cashflow forecasting.
You will report directly to the Finance Director.Requirements for success
Qualified with ACA/ACCA/CIMA credentials, you should have prior experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably within an owner-managed SME. Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive process improvements are essential. Excellent communication skills and the proficiency to business partner across all levels are crucial. Familiarity with sage payroll software would be advantageous.
