We are seeking a Financial Management Specialist to join the finance team in Bolton. This established organization is experiencing significant growth and is poised for exciting developments, offering remarkable career advancement opportunities within the finance department.
Key Responsibilities
In your role as a Financial Management Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the Group Financial Controller and Group Finance Director in the preparation of management accounts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing VAT returns
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations
- Handling accruals and prepayments
- Adjusting stock levels
- Assisting in financial analysis and forecasting
Additionally, you will participate in projects aimed at enhancing efficiency within the finance function and will be responsible for reporting on the outcomes of these initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will be newly qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or within a year of qualification. We welcome applicants from industry backgrounds, preferably in construction, or those making their first transition from practice. A strong desire to advance your career as a Financial Management Specialist in a supportive learning environment is essential.
Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000, along with 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, an annual bonus, and additional benefits such as life insurance, enhanced pension contributions, and on-site parking. You will work full-time in the Bolton office, with standard working hours.
