Key Responsibilities
In your role as Financial Management Specialist, you will assist the Group Financial Controller and Group Finance Director in the preparation of management accounts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing VAT returns
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations
- Handling accruals and prepayments
- Adjusting stock
- Participating in analysis and forecasting activities
You will also engage in projects aimed at continuous improvement within the finance function and provide reports on the performance of these initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will be Newly Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or within a year of qualification. You may come from an industry background, preferably in construction, or be transitioning from practice. A strong desire to advance your career as a Financial Management Specialist in a supportive learning environment is essential.
Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary of £40K - £45K, along with 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, an annual bonus, and additional benefits such as death in service coverage, enhanced pension contributions, onsite parking, and an annual salary review. This role requires full-time onsite presence in the Bolton office.
