Hybrid – On site Bristol

Our client, a global aerospace organisation, urgently require a technical data engineer to undertake a long term contract.

The role:

  • Management and coordination of Technical Data authoring activities, including the verification and validation of the manual content
  • Ensuring the delivery of manual content in accordance with specifications, contractual commitments, configuration management rules, approved schedules, quality standards and within budget objectives
  • Management and answering customer queries providing prompt and efficient support to the customer
  • Assessment of aircraft design inputs (e.g. Modifications, Service Bulletin) in order to detect design changes
  • Management and monitoring of the subcontractors supporting the authoring activities
  • Act as an interface between Technical Data, customers and all the other stakeholders
  • Drive the innovation of the Technical Data documentation

Skills/Qualifications:

  • A sound understanding of aircraft maintenance, operations and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of Fuel System
  • Proactive, good team player and good organisational skills
  • Previous experience working in direct contact with the customer with tight deadlines
  • Project Management skills
