Thrive Shepton are actively looking to recruit a Quality Assurance to start immediately for our prestigious client near Warminster, Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Document and report any quality issues or non-conformances, working with production teams to resolve them.
  • Perform regular audits of production areas and equipment to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related activities.
  • Collaborate with production staff to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the food production industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and equipment.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday (Apply online only)

Hourly Rate:

  • Starting rate 13.00 per hour, potential to increase after training
