Birchfield School is an independent preparatory for boys and girls aged 4 to 14 in a rural setting and is a member of IAPS and ISA.

We are currently extending our senior school to cater for pupils up to age 16 and our first Year 10 class joins us in September 2024.


We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified SEN teaching assistant with experience of supporting SEN pupils across the primary years.

The role will involve supporting pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan within our Star programme in years 2-6.

All the children within our Star provision are enthusiastic, keen to learn and a delight to teach.

The role will ideally cover 27.5 hours per week over 5 days. Full details of the post are available on the school web site.
