This position is part of a UKRI-funded project that examines potential unintended consequences of large-scale land-based CO2 removal strategies; it will focus on the expansion of oil palm plantation as bioenergy crop and their impacts on climate and atmospheric composition, including potential implications for air quality, human and vegetation health.
