The Role

This position offers the chance to work within a specialist team of Regulatory lawyers and to gain extensive exposure to various areas of Regulatory law.

You will advise both national and international businesses on a wide range of matters, such as health and safety and environmental law, financial services regulation, information law (with an emphasis on data protection), consumer law, advertising regulations, food and product safety, and international trade matters

The role will see you working with a diverse client base, including banks, tech companies, and businesses across various sectors.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified solicitor in the UK or will qualify within the next few months.

Ideally, you will have spent a training contract seat or equivalent working within one or more of the Regulatory areas mentioned and you will have a keen desire to forge a career as a Regulatory lawyer.

You should have a positive, proactive attitude, especially when dealing with the unexpected, and a desire to work on a variety of different matters of a contentious and non-contentious nature.

While hybrid working is commonplace, candidates must be able to commute to the Leeds office easily.
