Job Description

The Stirling and Clackmannanshire City Region Deal, signed in February 2020 aims to deliver a total investment of £214 million over ten years to support the economic development of the Stirling and Clackmannanshire region. The Stirling and Clackmannanshire regional economy is already blessed with significant assets including excellent further and higher educational establishments, rich natural, cultural and built heritage as well as a formidable business base. The region is well connected locally, to the rest of Scotland, and beyond to the UK and global community. Our region is positively situated to build upon this foundation and the City Region deal partnership has outlined four strategic outcomes of the deal: Inclusive Skills Ecosystem; Inclusive Economic Growth; Higher Value Jobs; and Shared Prosperity.

The Regional Programme Management Office (RPMO) is directly accountable to the Chief Officer Group (formed between Stirling Council, Clackmannanshire Council and the University of Stirling) and we are looking for a Head of RPMO to lead this team, building on the achievements to date.

As the Head of the RPMO, you will make a major contribution to the delivery of the City Region Deal Programme outcomes, overseeing the day to day planning, governance and delivery of programmes within the Deal, as well as leading on the delivery of the strategic aims and outcomes.

We are looking for a proven leader who can operate within a partnership model and who has significant experience of delivering complex Programmes involving a range of stakeholder groups.
