We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Attendance Manager to join our team here at Parkwood E-ACT Academy. The purpose of this role is to provide a specialist service to the Academy to ensure attendance strategies are effectively implemented.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage attendance strategies and supporting procedures throughout the AcademyLead first day absence management systems and processesConduct formal meetings with parents/carers in response to individual attendance and punctuality issues and ensure follow up actions are implemented and monitored.Responsible for completion and submission of statutory returns, complex forms, etcTo keep abreast of changes in legislation and relevant DfE guidance and contribute to developing, monitoring and reviewing the team's policy and planning Pay range SCP22-27 (£27, £31, FTE: £31,364 - £35, hours per week, weeks per year Qualifications and Skills: 5 GSCE'sKnowledge of attendance improvement strategiesKnowledge of statutory responsibilities relating to school attendance including parental responsibilitiesExperience of leading attendance management in a school environment What are we about?
