This autonomous and self-managed position will visit sites across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, while reporting into a local office approximately 1 day per week. This hands-on and site focused position will work collaboratively with all individuals across the business and will work closely with the Health and Safety Manager.

This newly created Health and Safety Advisor position will be responsible for:
  • Provide Health and Safety guidance and advice to the organisation and project teams.
  • Undertake incident investigations and implement preventative measures to avoid repeating similar incidents.
  • Conduct Health and Safety audits and inspections.
  • Drive a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the wider business.
  • Review and assist in the creation of RAMS
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience working in Civil Engineering, Highways, Groundworks, Construction, House build or similar.
  • NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent as a minimum.
  • Full UK Driving licence
