We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our team at Belcan, a world leader in the pharmaceutical industry. As a key member of our Construction Design Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental performance of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and Provide HSE Documentation: Ensure that all contractual requirements are met, and provide guidance to colleagues on HSE procedures and protocols.
- Promote a Safety-Centric Culture: Encourage the proactive use of safety tools, such as PASTA, peer audits, and safe cards, to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Prepare Contractual HSE Documentation: Develop and maintain all necessary HSE documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and safety procedures, to ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with colleagues, clients, and contractors to ensure that HSE requirements are met and that all parties are aware of their responsibilities.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General Certificate: Essential qualification for all HSE Advisors.
- Member of IOSH: Technical or Graduate membership is required for this role.
- Relevant Experience: Proven experience in auditing, inspection, incident management, and investigation, as well as HSE legislation, CDM regulations, and management system standards.
- Desirable Qualifications: NEBOSH Construction Certificate, Environmental Qualification, and CDM/Pre-construction H&S Qualification.
