The opportunity

As an Assistant at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:

Perform basic compliance tasks to a high standardPreparation of computations for review by senior staffWork within your own chargeable time budget

Day to day duties

Work to produce annual statutory accounts and record keeping for a number of clients Begin to offer advice on best practice and recommendations for partner reviewProvide support to your clients from an accounting perspectiveCommunicate with HMRC Involvement in basic compliance, beginning to take more responsibility for sections of the jobHaving some responsibility for a basic portfolioMay include VAT/payroll preparationWork both autonomously and as part of a teamAssist in any reasonable manner with administrative tasksEnsure your work is in line with the four Group values and the overall people strategyWork within your own chargeable time budgetAware of expected utilisation % budgets and work towards delivering this

Actively studying towards either ACA/ACCA/CA We will provide you full study support for your remaining exams including paid study leave, mentorship and coaching as we support you all the way on your journey to becoming a qualified accountant in the future.
