The Opportunity

As an Assistant at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:

  • Perform basic compliance tasks to a high standard
  • Prepare computations for review by senior staff
  • Work within your own chargeable time budget

Day-to-Day Duties

You will work to produce annual statutory accounts and record keeping for a number of clients. You will begin to offer advice on best practice and recommendations for partner review. You will provide support to your clients from an accounting perspective and communicate with HMRC. You will be involved in basic compliance, taking more responsibility for sections of the job. You will have some responsibility for a basic portfolio and may include VAT/payroll preparation. You will work both autonomously and as part of a team. You will assist in any reasonable manner with administrative tasks. You will ensure your work is in line with the four Group values and the overall people strategy.

We are looking for someone who is actively studying towards either ACA/ACCA/CA. We will provide you with full study support for your remaining exams, including paid study leave, mentorship, and coaching. We support you all the way on your journey to becoming a qualified accountant in the future.
