As a Group Tax Manager, you will be part of a small, cohesive head office finance team under the leadership of the Group Chief Financial Officer, reporting directly to the Group Head of Tax. You will play a crucial role in corporate tax compliance, year-end reporting, tax forecasting, and various other tax-related responsibilities.
Valeo Foods Group operates a hybrid working policy, with this role based in either our Dublin or London corporate offices.
Key
Responsibilities:
Corporate Tax Compliance: Serve as the key point of contact for Irish and UK corporate tax compliance processes.Year-End Reporting: Prepare year-end tax provisions and assist in coordinating the overall consolidated tax provision.Forecasting: Assist with tax forecasting for the annual budget and provide input on tax aspects of monthly board reporting.Pillar 2 Compliance: Ensure business readiness for upcoming Pillar 2 obligations.Ad-Hoc Compliance Projects: Manage R&D tax credits, withholding tax on external interest on group debt, annual transfer pricing documentation, country-by-country reporting obligations, VAT and payroll issues, and KYC support.Cash Management: Collaborate with the wider Group Finance team to ensure tax-efficient cash repatriation and address tax implications of fundraising projects.Tax Audits: Assist in managing tax audits and inquiries from various tax authorities.Legal Entity Rationalisation: Support ongoing legal entity rationalisation projects.M&A Support: Assist with tax due diligence, structuring, and post-acquisition integration as needed.Legislative Monitoring: Stay updated on tax law developments, assess their impact on Valeo, and communicate these to the tax team and senior stakeholders.Stakeholder Advice: Provide clear and relevant tax advice to various stakeholders, including Group Reporting, FP&A, M&A, and local divisional finance teams.Process Efficiency: Identify opportunities for efficiency in the Group's tax processes and assist in the development and implementation of key initiatives.
