Job Description:

In this role you will lead and manage real estate capital projects across EMEA. This will include Real Estate Strategy discussions, owning and delivering capital projects on time, within budget & with world class quality. You'll need to have to excellent knowledge on corporate interior design to deliver Hybrid working environments by team and working with external consultants. The role will oversee all aspects of EMEA projects end-to-end and act as the second in command on behalf of the Workplace Design Regional Manager.

We're looking for the successful candidate to have strong leadership skills, the ability to manage dynamic cultures within the region and be able to demonstrate can-do partnerships with other function teams within the Global Workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage real estate capital projects across EMEA.
  • Responsible for monitoring capital investment for projects. Able to handle >$10M projects and desire to win.
  • Strong Financial and procurement knowledge to attract best working partners and able to deliver savings and manage flash vs. actual in timely manner.
  • Understand workplace future trend and able to ensure the workplace design and fit out are meeting most recent regulatory and compliance.
  • Drives decision making process for issues outside established guidelines. Make quick and bold decisions with a sense of urgency
  • Develops project procurement strategy and sets budget to demonstrate best value for the company. Acts as a project owner within area of expertise, interaction with RES&T & WS as a trust advisor.
  • Interactions with internal stakeholders include global / regional / site levels in nature. Flexibility to manage time-zone challenge is a must.
  • Lead discussions and participates in negotiations with code officials and community leaders/groups. Provides technical consulting and leadership to business partners and the entire Global Workplace team. Adept at delivering detailed, high level presentations, of a complex nature to audiences of varied backgrounds.
  • The candidate will work with external partners & internal functional team members, stakeholders and monitor the entire progress throughout project life cycle.
  • Oversight, expanding deliverables and enhancing the quality of workplace results.
  • Developing and implementing space planning strategy and design details
  • Liaising with various global / regional team members to govern consistency across the region
  • Managing capital flash / actual spends and reporting on funding allocation.
  • Drive all tender application processes including design and construction.
  • Reporting on program performance to direct manager and EMEA leadership on a regular basis.
  • Ensuring relevant standards, process and regulations are upheld.

    Skills & Experience:
    • Experience working in a similar corporate environment delivering workplace design and fit out construction. You will own the design and construction management with solid know-how on MEP and technologies. Experience of delivering test lab and data centres is also required.
    • The successful candidate must be able demonstrate experience and success in program & project management in corporate real estate organisations. Senior level project management with workplace design and construction experience / background is the most preferred. The selected candidate will also act as an advisor and hold accountability for all real estate strategy discussions and be the governance to real estate initiatives.
    • The professional skill set must include the ability to run multiple projects at the same time in supporting fast-track dynamic. An open mindset on managing conflict and challenges would be the keys to win; and the ability to manage language barriers & cultural boundaries are keys to success.
    • The candidate should demonstrate the ability to set challenging timelines, challenge status quo, and the ability to demonstrate pushing for better.
    • Preparation of reports for exec. management regarding status of project/s - The candidate should have solid real estate business & financial knowledge; strong leadership and excellent communication skills; and the ability to handle complex / larger project scopes and fast track timelines in parallel.
    • Experienced in driving and leading workplace solutions, leading communications with internal / external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and meet Global workplace expectations.
