The Global Recruitment Team (International) - GRTI - plays a lead role enabling the University to achieve its ambitious international student recruitment targets, as well as helping it build its profile and presence in countries around the world.
We are looking for an admin assistant to join our team to provide admin support across a range of areas, from day-to-day activities (such as resolving or forwarding Customer Relationship Management (CRM) enquiries and providing logistical support for events overseas) through to work that needs undertaking at certain times of the year (e.g. payment of commission to agents and academic report production for relevant sponsored students). Good IT and interpersonal skills, as well as a good attention for details are among the key attributes required of this role.
Main duties and responsibilities
Supervision received Line management supervision will be given by the Administration Team Leader * To assist Scholarship Manager in obtaining progress reports from relevant tutors for sponsored International students and providing these reports to their sponsorship bodies, ensuring the office's good relationships with these sponsors are maintained at all times.
To handle day to day in-coming enquiries to sponsor admin inboxTo provide admin support for Scholarship ManagerTo provide assistance for organisation of visits to the campus from prospective students, parents, representatives, partner institutions and other external bodies and provide a tour of the campus if necessaryTo arrange bulk mailings, exhibition freight and sending prospectuses to student enquirers and maintaining lists for despatch.To assist the administration team leader as well as Regional Administrator with agent commission check process by following a set of proceduresTo undertake any other activities that may be required by the Head of GRTI to support the job and departmental aims
