The service users that we support have learning and physical disabilities.

For this role, you will be based at two locations - Farlie Close (based in Kempsey), and Cherry Orchard Bungalow (based in Pershore).

You must be a driver due to the locations of the 2 services.

About Radis

Established in 2001, Radis Community Care has grown to become a leading provider of community based social care and support for thousands of vulnerable adults and children in England and Wales, focused on supporting people to live independently in their own homes and part of their local communities.

We care for a range of service users including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. Tailored to meet our service user's individual needs, our care ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care and can either be short or long-term.

About the role

As a Team Leader you will provide support to our Supported Living Services, providing specialised person-centred support. Radis recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is tailored to their specific needs and provide a consistent approach throughout their life.

To work alongside the Manager of three small, supported living services in the Worcester area - overseeing the smooth running of these services, completing regular audits, checks, supervisions, spot checks, updating and reviewing support plans and working to ensure that individuals achieve their outcomes.

The role will require you to schedule / allocate work to the Support Workers, support with medication, accessing the community and finance management

Skills and Qualifications required for the role

Previous experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, autism and mental health issues

Previous experience as a Team Leader will be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and be willing to work towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and have a willingness to learn in line with client needs and expectations.

This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check. A driving licence with access to a vehicle would be desirable due to travelling between services.
