Full time
An opportunity has arisen for a full time Consultant Psychiatrist to join the well established Redditch & Bromsgrove CMHT for Older People in Worcestershire.
This post which covers Redditch will be supported by a junior doctor.
The office base is New Haven Unit, Princess of Wales Hospital, Bromsgrove, and the team comprises of a Team Manager, an additional Consultant (Bromsgrove), Community MH Nurses, OT's, Psychologist, HCA's and Medical and Team Secretaries.
The CMHT provides a service to people over 65 years of age with a secondary mental health need. Redditch has an approximate population of 16,000 people over 65 years old.
The team is supported by a Home Treatment Team as well as a Duty and Triage Team that screen new referrals and undertakes urgent assessments, if required.
Leadership and management activities are actively encouraged and supported.
