Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe assessment, treatment, and discharge of patients
  • Manage medication and develop treatment plans
  • Lead quality assurance, complaints, and co-production initiatives
  • Deliver NICE guidance and lead the CPA and ICR process
Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Full GMC registration with license to practice
  • MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
  • On the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or accepted within 6 months
  • Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status
  • Clinical training and experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
