Overview
Mitchell Adam is delighted to announce their newly found partnership with an exciting and expansive organisation coming out of the retail sector. This organisation has grown tremendously in recent years, and have earned their reputation and household name status and operate in the online retail industry. This organisation is looking for a talented Management Accountant to join their fantastic team in Cannock and offer a hybrid working style alongside a lucrative study support package. The organisation has newly renovated their offices and due to consistent expansion, they have decided to continue their internal expansion of their finance team. They have slowly brought on new staff in order to ensure proper training is available for all new starters. Their offices are available via car due to their on-site car parking.

This organisation started with humble beginnings, their aim was to ensure their clients and customers always received the best possible service, as before their entry to the market it was common place for customers to be unsatisfied. They have since managed to build a tremendous reputation in their industry and they aim to continue this outlook inwards towards their staff. Their ethos is to treat each other equally, they look to ensure these words are backed by their actions. They really look to ensure progression opportunities available and they always ask for constant feedback and ideas from their staff to see how they can improve the culture and atmosphere within the office and organisation. They have recently brought in a flexible working start time when some of their employees explained how the previous system sometimes limited them with activities such as dropping their kids off at school. This is an organisation that will listen and learn when looking to ensure their employees are satisfied in their positions. As a Management Accountant, you will be producing the monthly management packs and presenting this to senior management, alongside producing comprehensive reports and posting journals. You will be working in a team who will look to support you and assist you with your duties when necessary, and study support is provided for those aspiring chartered accountants.
Skills Required
  • To have prior experience producing management accounts in your career so far. There will be training but it is important to have some prior experience before taking on this position.
  • To be either currently studying your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to have already sat and passed a portion of your examinations.
  • To be confident and out-going. This role will see you interacting with various individuals of varying levels of seniority, it is essential to be able to communicate in a manner which they can understand.
  • To have aspirations to eventually become a chartered accountant, in CIMA or ACCA. As in this position you will receive study support and assistance from senior management. You Will Receive
