Who you are:

The ideal candidate for the role of Commercial Finance Business Partner will be a fully qualified professional (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with relevant commercial experience, particularly in collaborating with sales and merchandising teams. We are looking for someone who is committed to continuous improvement, possesses strong analytical skills, and can effectively communicate and provide commercial insights to non-finance colleagues.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing valuable commercial insights to the Trading Director.
  • Analyzing financial and trading data across all channels to drive informed decision-making.
  • Conducting detailed analysis of store, online, and concession performance to identify growth opportunities and strategies for immediate results.
  • Assessing channel and product performance against targets, highlighting trends, and making recommendations for performance enhancements.
  • Participating in contract negotiations to secure profitable agreements with third parties.
  • Establishing strong relationships with channel heads and supporting departments to facilitate the implementation of business initiatives.

As a Commercial Finance Business Partner at White Stuff, you will work closely with trading channels and the finance team in a fast-paced, forward-looking role that requires adaptability and proactive problem-solving.

What you'll need:

  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial finance and business partnering.
  • Essential retail industry experience.
  • Leadership experience in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills.
  • Proven track record of successful business partnering and stakeholder influence.
  • Agile, proactive, and curious approach to work.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with Oracle and Power BI for data analysis is advantageous.
