Reed Middlesborugh are delighted to be working with a local construction company who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and ready to handle a variety of tasks and projects. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to grow their career and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

The role?

  • Raising purchase orders and liaise effectively with suppliers
  • Allocating purchase orders against invoices
  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Prepare and manage timesheets for staff and contractors
  • Maintain a detailed tracker for various tasks and projects to ensure timely completion
  • Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls, providing excellent customer service
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while demonstrating strong communication skills

The person?

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Sage Accounts and Microsoft Packages, including Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
