The Opportunity:

Join Adobe's Privacy Office and Cybersecurity Legal Team (POCL) with a special focus on digital experience products, as well general privacy matters impacting Adobe. The role will work closely with colleagues across the world on groundbreaking data protection questions and will have the opportunity to influence how we continue to develop our privacy program. What you'll do:

  • Coordinate and drive stakeholder alignment regarding privacy and data protection in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
  • Assist in the creation, maintenance and deployment of Adobe's GDPR program including advising on individual rights requests, Data Protection Agreements, Adobe's Intra-Group Agreements, and Data Privacy Impact Assessments.
  • Partner with Adobe's International Legal organization to support sales negotiations, with a special focus on our EU customers.
  • Review, develop and maintain applicable policies and standards and work as part of a cross-functional team to deliver best in class privacy and data protection advice across Adobe's product range, with a particular focus on digital experience.
  • Respond to global regulatory investigations concerning privacy-related matters.
  • Help build and implement product privacy review processes.
  • Manage outside counsel advice for privacy projects.
  • Be an escalation point for privacy and data protection concerns in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Law degree and qualified to practice as a lawyer in at least one Member State of the European Union.
  • Proven experience in the practice of relevant privacy and data protection, including prior in-house, government, or law firm experience.
  • Experience running multiple, high-priority projects and advancing complex projects.
  • Understanding of and curiosity about the tools and technologies employed by global businesses.
  • Strategic problem-solving skills with excellent legal and business judgment and the flexibility to take on anything
