Job Title: Business Analyst - Finance
Reports to: Finance Business Partner
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

I am working with a leading manufacturing company who is seeking a solution-focused, analytical thinker to join their finance team as a Business Analyst. This role will be working closely with the FP&A and Business Partnering function of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Costing: Estimate costs for new business opportunities and analyse cost performance on existing products.
  2. Collaboration: Support the finance team to identify data and support the wider team to develop effective manufacturing routes for new tools and technologies.
  3. Pricing Support: Analyse and deal with the pricing model inquiries from their UK internal and external sales teams.
  4. Commercial Analysis: Analyse sales against the businesses budget and forecast to identify market trends and evaluate the impact of changing demand patterns.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Assess the price and margin performance.
  6. Reporting & Forecasting: Forecast operations output, conversion costs, and material usage variances.
  7. Management Information: Ensure effective business partnering is in place to explain monthly deviations and support informed decision-making to the FPA and Finance Business Partnering team.
